Support

If you need help or encounter an issue, use the following resources.

Contact Your Administrator

For account access, permissions, layer configuration, and organisation-specific questions, contact your system administrator.

In-App Help

Many areas of the application include a help button (). It opens this guide at the page for the panel you are in, in a pane down the right of the screen. Where the screen has room, the pane sits beside the page and leaves the rest of the screen free, so you can keep working while you read. Where it has not - on a tablet, a phone, a small window, or with the menu open on the left - it opens over the page, and a tap beside it closes it.

  • Look for the help button in panel headers and toolbars - the map toolbar, the strip under the map, the Search panel, the Workspaces & Layers panel and the Data Table each have one
  • Where the pane shows one section of a page, Show the whole page at its top brings the rest. Links in the pane open other pages of the guide in the same pane. The arrows at the top of the pane go back and forward through what you have read there; Menu lists every page of the guide, and On this page the sections of the one you are on
  • The arrow button at the top of the pane opens the page in a tab of its own. Where the pane sits beside the page, drag its left edge to make it wider or narrower, click its header to fold it to a strip, and the strip to open it again. If opening the menu on the left would leave the page too narrow, the pane folds to its strip by itself
  • Where your organisation has made a tour of the panel, Take the tour at the top of the pane walks you round it, one control at a time. Use Next / Back to step through it, or close it at any time. A tour never changes your data or settings

Application Updates

When a new version of the application is released while you are signed in, an Update Available dialog appears within five minutes, showing your current version and the new one:

  • Click Reload Now to load the new version immediately (finish or save any edits first)
  • Click Later to carry on working - the update loads the next time you refresh or sign in. Until then the dialog comes back every five minutes

Every release has a new version number, so the dialog appears after every release. Under each version it can also show a Plugin version: the part of the application made for your organisation, which a release may change on its own.

Staying on an old version for a long time can cause unexpected behaviour, so reload when it is convenient.
